Sunroof drain tube. I recently had wet carpets on the passenger side and found the sunroof drain tube was blocked which in turn filled the door pillar up which then leaked into the vehicle through a tiny hole in between two inner sill panels.

Offering glass repair is just a way of getting business and they will always try the upsell to replace windscreen as bigger profit. I have a mate who used to be a manager for them.

Going to change mine from 18" to 16" as I need five new tyres and find the ride quite hard with current 255/55 18 fitted. There is also more choice in 16" and they are cheaper. Currently looking at 235/70 16 BFG AT.

Cables incorrectly fitted. A common problem if cables are fitted with a twist in them and when the window is operated they try to cross over on the nylon drum where the motor is. I have all the kit to manufacture cables in stainless steel and do these on a regular basis.

I believe the largest tyres you can fit to a standard D2 is 245/75 16 or 255/70 16 as I am looking to do the same and do not want a 2" lift kit. Mine presently has 255/55 18 but you do not have much choice in off road tyres in this size and they are rather expensive.

Near Stoke on Trent. Just collecting a 2.0 DI Freelander today with a u/s IRD box. I also have an ebay shop and do mail order as well.

It all depends upon colours and designs. I usually scrap all of the interior when I break a Freelander as there is very little interest in interior parts and they are not worth taking valuable shelf space up.
