dont think so can see it dribbling from the pipe area

no probs mine still leaks but only on the very first start up of the day and only when its cold outside in the summer i have no problems weird

the two unions that the rubber pipes clamp on to on the pump its self . i changed the rubber pipes twice before i discoverd it was the metal union leaking itself

mine starts a treat but mines a td4

have you checked the little rubber pipes that come off the pump thats were mine leaks from but only when its cold and only on the first start of the day have been told by the wise fellows on here its from the metal unions themselves still not sorted it yet probably needs a new pump

hi all got back from work today used full lock to get on the drive and there was a rubbing sound abit like a tyre rubbing or brakes binding so i tryed it in reverse both turning left and right no noise could it be the coupling.have tryed the tipex test and after a drive round a car park lines...

how it started was jumped in car (half asleep) started up and went to grab something from centre consol and caught the switch (sunroof was closed) click click that doesnt sound good so i tryed it like i said tilts no noise slides back no noise come to close it closes fine apart from the fooking...

thanks again for the replies ive read the thread ianda and theres one bit that caught my interest the bit about thegearing in the roof motor the sound is the same as a plastic gear or sprocket missing a tooth is this possible?

tryed to look at the sun roof today carnt see a lot looks like the headlineing has to come down how hard can it be

cheers for that ianda the noise does seem to becomeing from the motor end.how does the motor drive the sun roof does it have a plastic sprocket or something

hope its not the cable that could be to much like hard work hopeing its something simple

sun roof nicely oiled tilts ok slides back ok but when you come to shut it it closes ok apart from the clicking any ideas :)

2003 td4 auto 149000 miles had it from 6 months old still happy
