435 is the most i have had td4 auto 1920000 on the clock:)

started the beast up first time in 7 months went first time happy days:bounce: just gotta sort out the damp and mould now:mad:

ones auto the others manual auto has bigger flow rate

do not have the facilities mate or i would give it ago

mines on 186000 never been done asked around early last year for some garage to do the fluid change must have asked 7 garages no one wanted to know to many horror stories :mad:

have exactly the same problem tryed everything short of a new motor looks like thats next

hi nodge i have similar symtoms but mine is a td4 auto from 10mph up until 50 mph drives like a sack of s$@t it seems to vibrate after that it drives ok thought mine was dropping off a cylinder is this similar to yours:confused:

got the same problem 03 td4 auto the differance is mine does it at 30 mph and also 50mph i thought it was engine related like dropping off a cylinder blocked injecter maybe:confused:

saw austin at bells yesterday asked him the same question about shelf life he said it doesnt matter how long its been sat on the shelf its all about the heat cycles it goes through when its on the car. suppose the more its used the less effective the vcu becomes

hi all just had my vcu changed at bells. freebee is on 183000 miles and twas on original vcu which i understand is quite high but is it the highest ????

just had a new vcu courtesy of the nice men from bell engineering 183000 on the original well happy

many thanks for the quick reply all wires in place and in good condition the window does drop when the door handel is used just not quite enough to clear the trim:confused: its now doing my head in

hi all tryed to recalibrate the window found out the wiring in the door was stopping the progress of the window on its downward journey taped it back in to place now the window goes all the way down so pressed the button to take it back to the top all well up to this point tryed to open the door...
