hi all yesterday i was given a synergy 2 just the box. my question is can i just plug it into my td4 it has the standed maf, bosch i think or will i need the pierburgh maf may thanks oh and happy new year

oops missed the bit about the warning light on the dash i don't get that just the shudder . i did change the throttle sensor a while back and it worked for a while but its back so probably is the auto box

hi there symptoms sound the same as mine also an auto been doing it for a while seems to disappear when i use the manual mode probably could do with an oil change at 208000 miles i suspect its due

hi all in the last few days have been experiencing some knocking on the front drivers side corner drop links i thought or maybe track rod ends .so today i got under the car to find the rollbar has moved to the right and is hitting the strut anti roll bar bushes are good (less than 8 months old)...

full service ready to go on me hols to the south of france 199000 miles will the old girl make it there and back of course she will but still got all singing all dancing breakdown cover just in case;)

yep sure are the same mine's a 5 door and put a 3 door backdoor on it changed it due to rust hope this helps

changed the ird oil and diff oil checked auto gearbox oil still a nice redish colour even after 198000 miles:D

changed auxiliary and air con belts today went better than expected just a leaking heater matrix leak to sort out next :mad:

thankfully mine is not that bad yet just a few drips still thinking about going down the k seal route really don't fancy takeing the dash out:eek:

many thanks for the quick reply winu i hear what your saying about the quick fix but it will only be in the system for a couple of months and also i will have the other half complaining in the mornings shes cold. i mention k seal because it supposedly does'nt bung anything up thoughts please

hi guys discovered today leaking heater matrix just wondered what my options are i know it will have to be changed at some time but can i get away with k seal or something along those lines for a short time untill i have the spends to put it right (new matrix) its a 2003 td4 many thanks in advance

Yep know what you mean about the rubbish jubilee type clamps mine is still leaking will now try bmw

cheers for that already have egr delete fitted it is deffo leaking from the clamp will give the steelers a bell today to get a new clamp many thanks will keep ya informed

the bit thats leaking is were the egr goes on to the egr cooler cheers

hi all the other day cleaned all the inlet manifold out and associated pipe work all went well apart from losing a nut . anyways checked under bonnet today could smell exhaust smoke turns out were the egr valve goes into the metal flexi pipe its leaking from there tryed re seating it 4 times...
