i would change the fuel filter and check fuel pressure regulator for leaks . also fuel pump may be on the way out, is the pump noisy?

im sure you can .. ive put alot of time in this disco to convert it to auto (not as easy as it sounds) and do a complete refurb on the entire vehicle and then get locked out in every way :mad: ... but now im :cool: the Joy of LAND ROVER

i changed the receiver to a 2003 spec used one and added an earth (because i broke the tab where it earths with the bolt:o) . and it WORKS . pressed the fob a few times and the alarm went out and it started right up ..:D

i am going to try and find an alarm receiver and change it to see if the key will work . i have tried the 1515 eka code but no luck .. how can i get the correct code for my disco ?

you could trade someone your defender box for a good disco one .

from my experience the wiring is not there for the compressor or the wheel height sensors . so its not as easy as you may think

the gearleavers are in the wrong place . and cannot be interchanged . they can be swapped the other way around though (disco box into a defender ) but it requires some machine work and time .

+1 on the sand and paint (see pic for my results with blenheim silver) . sand it with 400 wet/dry and clean with paint prep and paint with quality automotive paint .

yes they should fit straight on . if you think about the headlight conversion from pre to post facelift there are no modifications done to the wings ,only the headlight area is modified.

yes it will fit but the mileage reading will be messed up and will start blinking . and even if you replace the old one the mileage will still be blinking ( i found this out the hard way) and i havent been able to fix it yet . i think if you try to change it to any other cluster it will not...

yea ive seen it happen before oh yea the EGR has also caused this problem
