Just following on from this, when the cambelt snapped it was about 60mph, whats the chances of further damage other than rockers and pushrods?

Hi All, I had the dreaded cambelt snap on motorway yesterday, all pushrods are bent and 3 rocker arms snapped. Question is, is there anyone who sells the complete rocker shaft and rockers, spacers etc as a complete kit or do I have to order individually and assemble? Many thankd Delwyn

That's funny coz mine is D1, V reg jap import so yes there are, I have also seen a D2 V reg.

It's a 1999 D1 so doesn't have a spider. I have sent the ecu and as10 unit off anyway now to be relinked as they lost linking code to start the car

Is anyone breaking a D1 auto EDC please?

I was hoping so but I need some more knowledge on it or can the immobiliser be bypassed.

Hi all, can anyone point me in the direction of someone ho may have a D1 300tdi EDC, ECU, AS10 unit and matching keyfob/s please? Mine have cocked up after plugging in a stupid Lynx Diagnotics thing and now it wont start.

I have yes, 2-15, 5-15 both point to front right sensor air gap, I have taken out and reseated, light went off and that's when it occurred. The light is back on again now showing same fault, 5-15 with blink test.

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Is certainly is odd because it leaves you with little to no brakes at all until the abs stops what it's doing.

Hi All, I have had the ABS light come on intermittantly on my D1 300tdi and the blink test showed air gap in front right, so I pulled it out, cleaned and refitted and tapped in gently, however when I now come to brake on a normal road, dry, at less than 15mph the ABS kicks in with pulsing...

Sorry, I am a but dumb when coming to wiring in parallel. If I get a non latching switch with say 3 poles on, 1 is for the illumination, what exactly do I do with the other 2. I dont want to go and eff the whole thing up.
