sorry should have explained- it is a new radio plugged into the iso plug, but it does not have a perm live, whoever fitted the iso plug did not wire the perm live so the radio loses the stations every time its turned of etc,not sure of the best way to resolve this without taking it to a radio shop.

Hi guys, is it safe/practical to run a perm live from the battery to the stereo, wil it flatten the battery or do any damage? thanks in advance.

Could someone please advise me on the rear seat mounts for my disco td5, I have bought s/h rear seat set have all the bits to fit them, their is some pointed steel things that fit in somewhere, ie what way do they point where do they fit in inside the mount or outside, I have checked rave but...

gawd bless ya ratty what a gentleman saved me in ex of £200 and weeks of searching many thanks, I geuss its easier to change the whole part rather than the o rings.

Has anyone had a leaky fuel cooler disco td5, mine leaks coolant not fuel,having looked on the Austrailian L/R forum there is a few posts on the same subject but seems none in uk.They suggest new o rings to solve the problem, new cooler is £235+ so orings seem like a better option, any ideas guys?

Pretty sure its coolant, the level in the header tank drops low if left for a few days,Im guessing it is connected?:D

Just been on the ebay,by chance spotted ad for locking actuator/solonoid app theese fail regularly anyone heard of this before, they are listed for £40+pp any thoughts?

Hi all disco td5 central locking issue-5 dr commercial all doors unlock except passenger with fob or with key,door can be opened manually from inside but wont unlock from central dash switch.Any ideas very welcome.:confused:
