Go for the Disco, you won't be disappointed. I've had mine for 10 years and love it more now than when I bought it. It's only had a replacement auto box, a new power steering pump and a new steering box oh and two new air springs but I wouldn't swop it!

Can't go wrong with a disco 2. Well that's my thoughts anyway! (There is a lot of knowledge on this forum if you do have problems with it when you do get one though)

What year is yours? I was thinking of a decat but viewing several comments on LZ forum it seems that anything after 2002 will now fail the MOT if it doesn't have the cat.

Sounds about right although I have not timed mine (03 TD5 auto) I have always been impressed by its ability to get away from the lights and mine has not been remapped (YET)

Stick with the gold Kimmy, it looks fantastic. Those light bars look like they may be worth your trouble getting involved in. Let us know what they are like when fitted!

I think the only thing you can use is Rave. Haynes haven't produced a manual for your car and I wouldn't want to gamble on the 3.9 being the same. Rave is quite simple to understand and easy to follow IMO.
