    On the MOT checker dot gov website. When I put the Reg in ( J, which is 91) it comes back as this... Date registered: 31st December 1981. Isnt the DVLA linked with this website some how? why would my V5 differ from that I wonder?

    Yeah it was the little O-ring around the injector itself that was bubbling away. I Just got a new set off flea-bay around 20 bucks. Ill be doing them next weekend along with new plenum gasket, plugs and wires. If that doesn't fix it ill go back to scratchin me head.

    Well, It was the hall sensor after all. Shoved a brand new electonic ignition dizzy in and she fired up. Running lumpy as heck but at least shes alive. Will do the timing and final tweeks this weekend.

    Ok, so turns out that the distributer has the electronic internals with a hall censor inside rather than a points and braker system. Does any clever cloggs know how to wire the distributor and coil? any help would be great.
