ive got one, decent bit of kit, gets well used and not let me down. Pay the extra though and buy the one with the rope instead of wire.

It`s nothing to do with the size of the cable, that doesn`t dictate the load it can handle. It`s the thickness and number of strands that determines the load handling. I fit car security and some immobiliser circuit wires are similar in size to speaker cable but can still handle a starter cut.
