Most people say top cover no problem, its next one down not to disturb. Had to get full gasket set set £15, so not too bad. With proper socket top cover tightened and stopped leak for now so may for a nice warmer day before doing the gasket

I found that with trying to pay bills and purchase things online.

Just treated myself to new PC for Christmas and had choice of Windows 10 or11. Plumped for 10 as I new I could get most of my software to run with a bit of tweeking. My old windows tablet and laptop for running eas software are disconnected from internet so as not to update after wifes laptop...

Used the new socket set today and found the triangle one not quite tight. My apologies to @Datatek it was a loose bolt that just needed tightening. Fingers crossed was an easy fix. Proper tool still saved me some aggro though

Well put on the MAF I found in my box at bottom of wardrobe and guess what, it was fubar. Ha well up to yard next week to pick another up :)

Went through my spares box and found a MAF sensor all wrapped up and sealed I forgot I had. So thats another little job tomorrow

True. I have proper MAF cleaner. The one thats failed was an old second hand one off a scrapper that was covered in sh*te. Cleaned it put on and have cleaned it twice when changing air filter so confident it has finally died. Will try a clean but don't hope for much this time. The diesel ones...

Well whats blooming happening. Out and about visiting today and massive loss of power going up slopes and hills. Me thinks back to this happening before and unplugged MAF sensor restarted and away we went. Looks like another new sensor needed. Ha well that can wait til new year. Merry Christmas...

Dam been out this evening and SRS come on after driving but goes off when stops and restarts then comes back on after about a mile or so. Will try that connector under dash drivers side
