Started on wrapping the rest of the car, rear door off Wrapped these side bits Finally for today, wrapped the lower parts of the backs Put some of the lights etc back on and the new defender decal

Just a cheapo eBay purchase

Sanded down any loose paint and corrosion, some of these areas were probably the worst on the car Cleaned then etch primered, near enough ready for wrap now

My new "diesel fuel" plate arrived so I could put all the filler stuff back on, how this area looks currently A little drain plug on the bottom of the snorkel And started stripping the rear for the final push to finish the wrapping

Hi, I seem to be having a problem removing the viscous fan from a 300 tdi defender. When I first tried to undo the 32mm nut behind the fan it was moving the drivebelt pulleys too, so I shocked it loose with a few smacks from a hammer which seemed to do the trick, the nut is now loose...

Another boring update, more servicing today, oil and filter change and main gearbox oil. Drained oil, replaced, heres an excellent pic of an oil filter Then removed gearbox filler plug first Followed by the drain plug crappy old gearbox oil Magnet on the drain plug...

Quick job this evening, stop the leak from the rocker cover! Had a new genuine land rover gasket here for a while now, so finally got round to fitting it. Covers off, can see where its leaking where the oil is sat on the mating surfaces on the left hand side Cleaned up the mating...

So now officially the whole front end of the car is wrapped, its just these panels left on the whole car unwrapped First job today was to finish around the windscreen etc Fitted these new bulkhead to windscreen brackets Fitted everything back on doors etc and some pics how...

A few updates today, new door handles arrived, will be nice to be able to open the doors now Then decided to try and wrap this bulkhead around the air vents. Stripped the car down as much as poss Several hours later...wrapped! its not 100% amazing but considering how...

Not yet. It's not really bendy pipe, I suppose u could try heat to bend it. To be honest I'd be impressed if much water managed to find its way down there lol

Take as much off as I can and do it in two sections, around the windscreen as one and below the little ledge/around the vents as the other

Ok so heres an update of what iv been up to, Stripped the doors off Washed them down and wrapped them Wrapped these bits up the sides and put new nuts in Rear door plate Sprayed it black Then removed the two vent flaps One hinge pin was rusted solid...

Also replaced the old knackered rear lower door seal with a new one and new steel plate the old one

made a start on the roof, but sadly cant finish it off still waiting for more cans to turn up
