300TDi Engine/Block/Bits My engine is dieing a slow painful death, working for LR gives me access to all the bits i'd need to do a complete rebuild, so i'm after an old engine, or block to rebuild. Ideally with injectors and pump, but anything considered! Post away!

TBH as per my other thread i just bought the same tyres in 235 85 16... Balanced up 4 of them a treat (no more than a normal AT tyre), but the 5th took over 200 grams!

Went laning on Sunday... managed to slash both N/S (Nearly new General Grabbers) tyres in a mud hole, where some cont had dumped some reinforced concreate... so decided it was time to go bigger :P 235 85 16 Insa Turbo Saharas £70 each and a free 5th, fitted by myself... not bad :P 4...

Mine was down to a snapped ARB drop link... worth a look!

You'll never get it off with a heat gun... needs to be constant heat all over. Trust me... an oven on slow cook or Gas mark 0.5 and jobs jobbed.

If the glass is bonded to the casing... (not sure as mine we're ripped off within days)... pop it in the oven on the lowest it'll go for an hour, this'll melt the glue and allow you to take the glass off. Clean them out, reseal :)

In theory it'll just need running with the top bleed/filler bolt removed, the one above the thermostat, till water comes out then retightened :)

^ Agree... there is nothing 'wrong' with the ****part springs... they are a little soft for 'Heavy Duty' but i've had them on for 15k miles with no issues...

It's funny... i had greenstuffs on the trackcar and really didn't rate them... vowed never to use them, as do a lot of the trackday clique... But people seem to rave about them on Landys!
