Can the injectors be levered out without removing the rocker shaft as per this guide? From what i can work out he only had to remove the rocket shaft as the tool he used to get the injectors out is massive. If I use an l shaped Allen key can you get them out without dismantling the rocker...

Right ok thanks, ill take off the adjuster and give it a good clean with some brake cleaner and wd40. How do they want to be adjusted ideally then? Keep tightening the adjuster in the drum untill the shoes are just touching the drum and then slacken off a tad?

Been having a poor handbrake on the freelander so I decided to change all the cables and the shoes. It's still poor. Any reccomendations? The drums are rusty but there's not much of a lip on the inside, could it still be worth changing them? Also does everything look OK with this as the auto...

Ah right got one on order from eBay. How do I remove the metal rods from behind so I can remove the unit? I got the 3 torx bolts out but couldn't remove the unit because the metal rods were in the way but I couldn't feel any bolts or anythings holding them on.

Done. After 15 minutes of the blow torch trying to get it out I decided to unbolt the ball joint but and levered the wishbone down. The top strut bolt and ball joint were enough to get the shaft out. Had to slightly file the side of the hub around to guide the new reluctor ring on Everything...

If I do get the bolts out will I need a puller to get the shaft out of the bearing or will it just tap out

Is the drive shaft able to come out if I leave the strut bolts in but remove the but from the ball joint?

Also is it going to be easier if I remove the ball joint nut instead?

I tried that and gave it some serious welly with the hammer but still nothing. Is it something a bit of heat with a blowtorch might solve?
