The 4.0 goes throughought 1,2 & 3rd gear normally in normal mode (auto) but when accelerating on a motorway or dual carriageway it holds 4th gear for all of two seconds then goes to fifth at low revs (1500k) my box changes around 2krpm at normal acceleration but it doesnt seem to like 4th and...

73.9 it is near me, thats the only lpg station for miles aswell. 95p per litre is a joke.

Cheer everyone, 13.5mpg on gas is around town, without taking any care to conserve fuel but not hammering the motor, So i expect maybe 15-16mpg with care and more on long runs. I find that excellent for the 4.0 motor. Had me mulling over a 950cc fiesta mk3 on gas but that ideas for another decade.

Not had car long but worked out what im getting mpg wise, LPG tank went empty so i stuck £33 worth of gas in it @ 75p per litre, Thieving *****.. Got 130 Miles exactly before it ran out. So, (I think this is right, I bunked many a math session) 3,300 divided by 75 = 44 litres. 44L divided...

Key recoded £30 - Keeping it away from any electric devices from now on ! All sorted !

I've realised that now, i thought the eka code turned the immobiliser off for good until the fob armed it again, So its a 5 minute wait every time i want to start the car - Going back the indy tomorrow, they will try and code the key £30 they quoted me, i asked them what if the key cant be...

Ive pulled the headlining out the reciever is bone dry, had the key open, all dry (checked just in case) something else just happened though, entered the eka code, got it running, removed the key, waited 20 or so seconds and turned ignition on, nothing whatsoever - Im going to move the car now...

Seems the wastegate is controlling the boost solely on its own now, 1.2bar - 16-17psi being standard, It must be dumping boost at this pressure as it goes no higher, When it hits 20psi it will go into limp mode as it has overboosted. Problem solved myself i guess.
