Try some 2EHN in the fuel. 2 Etherhexylnitrate to give it it's probably badly spelt full name. Ebay for about £50 for 5l. 1ml to a litre of fuel. It's 1 of the main ingredients of millers!

@bikerteacherdave Wasn't having a pop at you old boy it's that ferking video makes the whole process look so easy when in reality it isn't!! I hate to think how many engines have been wrecked by following it!

What a load of bollox that video is!!! De-watering the old oil????? Removing excess methanol and catalyst from finished fuel???? Final filtering of finished fuel??? Braver man than me to put that ****e into ANY car never mind a common rail!! Rant overo_O

Brilliant piece of kit to make crap fuel and poison yourself with methanol fumes!! Save yer money and build yer own. If you solder copper pipe properly then you can build your own reactor.

P38 diesel is the BMW M51 engine and will run on veg oil but is better on full bio. I ran mine on it for about 20k and the guy who has it now has put at least another 30k on it with out issue. You should change your fuel filter after about 2k or so after starting to use bio as it will clean all...

There is usually a guy in Sheffield selling cleaned IBC's for £35 with a bit for delivery on ebay. My mate bought a couple for rainwater harvesting and they were very clean inside.

When i was on't rig 20years ago protocol was thus:- 14 and 19 were the breaking channels...where you went to call yer mates. Once you found them you went to another channel to chat. Channel 9 was the emergency channel...there was always someone on there waiting to help when possible. Bucket...

I had a gasless welder as that's all i could afford at the time and it was ok on bright and shiney stuff. Take you time and they are ok. Now have a gas one with an Argon bottle on it and it's like chalk and cheese compared to the gasless. Much more forgiving on pitted metal and much neater welds.
