Hi, anyone know if you can get the dog guard brackets seperately from LR or anyone got a set i can buy. Just brought a guard cheap of a mate but he has sold the car on with the brackets attached !:rolleyes:

Added the transmission fix today and seems to be the same as everyone else, ie. made an improvement but the 1st/2nd change is still a bit snatchy at certain times. Looks like it would be an exchange box to cure it so unless someone knows different or a garage will do us a block discount then...

Andy,brought a new key of Main dealer last year only to find it wouldn't work. They order the keys from your original car details ie chassis no. etc and so works in conjunction with your cars Becm.Someone in the past had changed the Becm and the ignition lock and key ??.I now have a brand new...

Just to let you know the local retailer didn't stock the transmission fix but every other Lucas product . Just brought a 700ml bottle off Ebay for £12+ £3 p+p. Will be using it asap,as soon as it arrives, and after the Snow !!;)

So are the three off us looking at mega bucks for a new gearbox/repair. There must be someone out there who's had this problem sorted/diagnosed, i think its just a case off wait and see !! Come on guys give us your thoughts.:confused:

GGG,funny you should have a fault that my DHSE auto has just started to develop last week.As you say, its ok in the other change ups/downs and is smooth in the 1st/2nd changeover sometimes.Really wierd.My RR is a 2000 model. ps. cant even find a gearbox level stick ??. Any advice from anyone...

Just a quick note, i have a 2000dhse and agree it WAS slow but last week fitted a powerbox i purchased of egay for £125 took 20mins to fit it and what a difference !! 160bhp and its a totally different beast. Cheers:)
