I've been toying with the idea of removing the cat on my 02 disco and was just wondering what the benefits/ drawbacks were? Does it make much difference performance wise? Fuel efficiency? Noise level? Any advice will possibly be listened to

That's what I was going to go with as I used their EGR delete kit, very nice piece of kit but for the sake of a regulator o didn't what to spend £60 quid on it. And considering all I used was 3o rings and the metal gasket I'm glad I didn't

It was a £30 kit from eBay, I was going to replace the regulator but broke my circlip pliers and to be honest it looked fairly new, as did the o rings apart from the missing one.....

It starts fine everyone, no real issues with the engine really apart from the turbo taking a while to spool up from starting but that only last a few metres and only very rarely

I'm just debating on if it's really worth the effort to remap my td5 on 209,000.
