Can anyone help with the correct Engine ECU part number for my 1986 efi 3.5 automatic UK spec Vogue with Air Conditioning (now removed). My LR parts book states PRC 7440 but it is fitted with a PRC 4764, which I beleive is the original. I need to locate a replacement as I have fried the EFi...

Engine trouble..big time! any ideas welcome

Have you checked the radiator for a blockage, if it is, it may be causing a hot/cold spot that a sensor is picking up and feeding the engine ecu with incorrect engine fuel requirements. Thus causing mis-firing and bad starting when hot. Good luck

    Radiator Idenification Help

Norseman thank you for your reply. I have since found out that the 1987/1988 model year RRC had a mix of different radiators, pipes and expansion tanks on the 3.5 V8. I am going to try a NTC5632 pipe tomorrow to see if it fits ok. If not I will get the old radiator - re-cored and return or sell...

    Radiator Idenification Help

Well today was going to be a positive day, but as usual being the owner of a RRC it was not. Bit the bullet last week and ordered a new cooling radiator after looking at my CD parts manual (ESR80) for my 1986 RRC 3.5EFI Auto. Tried to fit it this afternoon and it is: 1, About 8mm taller. 2, Has...

    Body Lift

EeEk many thanks for your reply. Is it a straightforward job apart from the items mentioned? Is it just a case of fitting blocks on the existing body mounting points and moving the bumpers, some one posted about the radiator needed lifting. Really appreciate your reply. Thanks

    Rear Floor Support Cross Members

Thanks for all the comments and information. Both of the rear load space floor supports are formed from sheet metal and are a top hat shape in cross section. At both ends of each support is a tubular upstand of about 20mm that is welded in place , the securing bolts go through near the wheel...

    Rear Floor Support Cross Members

Thank you for your reply. I have seen aftermarket ones from a number of online well know suppliers and ALL are missing the tubular upstand (which I can weld on). But they will not say they will fit as the are made for welding on, not screwing in place as mine are. I may be missing the point...
