I think we are missing the point, sadly Land Rover is a luxury car maker now, but beyond that they are a a car company. In order to survive they have to push tin in as large a number as possible.

Just tried starting the 80 with a very slow starter spin,,, not even engaging with the flywheel. Even with spare battery jumped on. All other electrics like fuel pump frisky. A bit like when stutab and I tried to start her for the xmas trial in - 8c
might be fun if SWMBO lets me, that said it is the first night this week that she is hoping to be home on time instead of 9pm :-)
