Been underneath to check for the scource of an oil leak, both front driveshaft oil seals are leaking, another days work the next time I'm off. (Monday).

Mine is more or less the same. When I start in neutral, the 3 lights stay on. What I have to do is, put the car in first, engage the HDC switch, put my foot on the footbrake, start the car, on starting the 3 amigos stay on, the green HDC light stays on, and the footbrake pedal drops slightly...

At the moment, 3 amigos are intermittent, one of the causes could be the brake light switch (BLS), if the BLS is at fault would the light's still operate when the 3 amigos are lit.

Stupid question, if the 3 amigos are on intermittently and the brake light switch is at fault, would the brake lights be working. Mine are on sometimes, but the brake lights work, whether the amigos are illuminated or not.

2 x window cables. IRD blown due to seal failure.

Just had mine changed, had the LuK one fitted.

Should of said check and lube cables, didn't need to do mine, as I put new cables on.

This is a regular probs with FL 1 handbrake, a good strip, clean, grease and reassemble should sort it out, use the adjusters on the shoes to get a slight drag then let off a couple of clicks then adjust the cables at the hand brake to 4-7 clicks.

Done yesterday, sorted out the oil leak on the rear diff, took the back plate off, cleaned plate and diff out, put instant gasket on, replaced plate, drove to work no more leaks.

Only criticism I've got is, why do people stand so close to a winching cable when in use, obviously not seen one let go, very painful when it broke the guy in questions arm.

Are the inlet manifold gaskets reusable after cleaning the manifold, or are new ones recommended.

Only mods on mine are, Tiger rims with 235/70/16 Pirelli Scorpions and a homemade sump guard, been laning for nearly 3 years on average once a month, never been stuck once, have to be aware on some lanes as there is no low box, but otherwise been where other 4x4s go.

I had some work done on mine, fitter fitted the one to the left (with the valve thing on it) to the in questions connection, sussed this out as I had a hard brake pedal, the question now is, where does the other pipe connect to.

Mine do this at times, esp after laning and in the wet, I find a strip down, clean and lube helps, brakes that is.
