I don't think the safari style are made of the same quality material as the original safari ones,is the airbox on the v8 in the same place as the tdi? I bought a southdown style snorkel as there was no way i was paying the price for a new safari.

So it plug spot/plug welds to the under floor supports?

Also should the new boot floor have the lip around the edge? I thought it should be flat for spot/plug welding?

My serpentine belt tensioner shat itself this morning,I came into a corner at my normal speed and had no power steering which was fun lol Thankfully the bearing is the same size as the ac idler so I stuck the that in for now.

By the time ive done my boot floor and other welding repairs i should be a bit better lol Can you buy ready made mounts so i don't have to worry about hacking the old ones off? Thinking about it,might be a good idea to do this when the boot floor is out?

Got a hole under the rear body mount on both sides of the chassis,will the mount need removing to do a proper job?

Yeah everything is there,when you rotate the clutch you can hear it burble. When i got it had no belt,no gas and was told it was seized,all the bearings need replacing so im hoping it was those causing problems but well have to wait and see.

Not much of an update really but things are moving along slowly :) After sealing the sunroof the rear one was still leaking so i stripped everything out and had another look.Water was getting in between the glass and the glass seal so i took it out and put some sealant under it so it made...
