    Mine sometimes plays up also. Unlock door manually, dont open door, then lock. Then try fob on key to open up. Might work for you, it do's for me.

    The windcsreen has 2 heated elements in it, left and right. The switch and relay cost about £15 for the pair from your local dealer, take 5 mins to fit. Also check the fuses are there. But you might need to enable it on your ECU, a nanocom job. I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow as I've...

    I fitted drilled, slotted brake discs on the front of my disco2 two weeks ago for the MOT and now find that the discs are on the wrong side of the axle. Will this make a difference to the brakeing or disc/pads wear life? :confused: Seem ok so far. Passed MOT ok, just advisory on rear pads...

    I've been asked to put this question to the forum by a workmate without a pc. what is the standard turbo boost for a y2000 Discovery TD5 ? He's been fitting a gauge and it shot up higher than he thought it should be. Any help would be appreciated, Thankyou, Paul

    Mot passed- phew!!

    My Disco 2 passed ok yesterday also, just a note for rear brake pads worn. Getting new rear pads and discs on truck next month, had new front pads and discs fitted last tues. I,m a happy chappy now. :D

    my 2000 td5 windscreen has numurous chips in it from its 9 year life and when it comes to replacing is it worth the extra for the heated element one? I see the windscreen wireing is installed below the windsreen in the engine bay, will i need anything else besides the dashboard switch...

    The base locks in with the back folded down, but the back wont lock into place. Its the double seat thats the problem. The base rear strops are in the bottom position and the back will raise but not lock in, leaving the top release catch staying up with the red bit showing. There must be some...
