as i understand it the law is simple. if you do not hold th correct licence you can tow a trailer of less than 500kg. the exception to that is if the combined weight of the trailer AND your vehicle and the load you are carrying does not exceed 3500kg

actually, g wagons will outperform a landy in the right hands. bloody reliable - but as said parts are a bomb, and they have locking front and rear diffs so in the rough stuff they should outperform a landy

the other day i saw a utilities 110 double cab with a high cap tub on the back - that might slot onto a 90 pretty nicely. that landy looked bloody good

well i drove around in an old g wagon today. utterly gutless lump but bloody quiet inside, i actually quite liked it!

im sure we will work it out, i know that area pretty well as well, but there are plenty of us that know our way around and can read maps! will be an early rise then, will have to be up for leaving about half 7 by the looks of things look forward to it, see you all then!

redhand, what about a rangey classic? no electric issues, no suspension issues if you get one with coils, and you can get an absolutely mint one for 2k that would be my choice. like you i dont really like discos, at least not standard ones

it depends. you can easily spend 10's of thousands restoring it, or you can spend less just touching up.
