I'll have a look later on at waterproofing it as much as I can, is it easy enough to silicon the holes under the dizzy? stupid question but can i seal them without taking it off? also should I be worried about axle breathers?

i've got a thermo switch on the fan which i can just unplug the spade connectors or pull the fuse out. I suppose worst case scenario is one of my passengers has to climb out the window onto the bonnet and throw someone a tow strap lol wd40 and vaseline might come in handy aswell for the coil...

my only concern is water crossings, are we likely to come across any that are reasonably deep as I haven't got a cut out switch for the electric fan and no snorkel fitted at the moment :-(

all being well if my new hose comes this week and i can get the interior fitted back in I'll be along also. Have you got a Name for your Discovery??

if I was to pick a name today I'd have to name mine Kay after my last girlfriend because its big up front like her chest, drinks alot, costs a fortune to run and puts a big grin of my face when she's turned on lol still thinking of a more meaningful name though

    300tdi rear indicators

this is an interesting topic, my 1994 M 300 series disco has sidelights in both the cluster and bumper but only indicators in the bumper. personally i'm not too bothered about the indicators not being in the cluster because the empty light strip is red and i'm fitting some recovery/warning...

I had a word with my dad last night and he's going to paint the rubbing strips for me today whilst I'm at work :) which should just leave the roof for me to do all being well on Friday and if the weather is good there should be some photo's uploaded over the weekend once the paints dried.
