hi all. i have a whirling whirring sounds coming from the front passenger side around the footwell. no judder or vibration though im guessing it has something to do with the driveshaft, maybe the bearing or a gearbox bearing. seems to rise and fall with the engine though and not the wheel speed...

hi all, i have intermittent whirling sound coming from the passenger side front corner. no judder or vibration just a whirring whirling sound that comes and goes..seems to come on when the cars been driven for a bit and rises and falls with the engine speed more than the actual wheel...

aha! never heard of it! ..though internet being what it is i am a grade A fuel burning heater expert! i had been thinking that my water pump bearing had started howling but ive since read that these heating units can make a fog horn sound...so £600 saved! cheers for that : )

copperslip will bake and go hard once its heated up a little. i know people put it all over brakeparts but its not a good idea on the sliders.

im running bargin buckets 215/70/16 infinity IF200s and cannot grumble even though they are more howly than my coopers on my jap thing.

turns out the car has been classed as a commercial d1 and has now been changed to an m1 estate car. £280 a year and now im thinking your right that d1 is cheaper road tax! i was comparing it to my pajero where im paying £220 and it classed as an m1... proper confused!

wonder how long dvla have been getting around with that one? ... at least 9 years on my car alone!
