    hi all. i have a whirling whirring sounds coming from the front passenger side around the footwell. no judder or vibration though im guessing it has something to do with the driveshaft, maybe the bearing or a gearbox bearing. seems to rise and fall with the engine though and not the wheel speed...

    aha! never heard of it! ..though internet being what it is i am a grade A fuel burning heater expert! i had been thinking that my water pump bearing had started howling but ive since read that these heating units can make a fog horn sound...so £600 saved! cheers for that : )

    im guessing that the nun is actually going to put more wear on a vcu driving it on sticky roads than the farmer who'll be letting it slip and catch on loose surfaces as four wheel drives are meant to. driving my 24 year jap on all fours, on hard surfaces will twist up her box in minutes!
