Mark I'm doing exactly the same but with a 3.9 but in no rush, so going to take all winter, I would not have ordered the bearings yet incase you find the crank to be oval and need a re grind then you would need +10 bearings but I soppose reel steel will let you return if you don't open the box...

what ecu did you order ms1 or 2 , also I saw that the newer ecus don't need the edis8 to fire the coil packs as the can fire them directly, also if you don't mind me asking where did you order the kit from in the end?
