Yeah I messed around with that a bit but want to get it spot on as getting the box back in is going to be a big enough maul without struggling to get the input shaft in!

Right I'm at a stage where I need to fit the clutch to my new flywheel (R380 box and td5 dual mass flywheel with genuine clutch) however my universal clutch Alighning tool doesn't fit the spigot bearing particularly well..
Anyone got any suggestions?

I fitted a remote start viper alarm and a cheap C/L kit from eBay ( it was about 15 quid, 4 actuators and a relay box no remote as the alarm fob is the remote) works like a charm :-)
300Tdi discovery is as reliable as a defender (it's mechanically very similar) 3k would buy a really nice late registred one with no 'issues' however I wouldn't be so keen on a 3k td5 disco... Just my 2 pence worth
I did at one point at the same time i did have:
a 200 tdi disco
a 300 tdi...
I have the BOB standard pattern 70mm led ones and they are far brighter than bulbs so I would imagine the NAS led are super bright... Le peri ones are fairly dear mind.
Odd thickness discs i.e. one new, one worn would cause a slight pull to one side as it slightly changes the piston area between the callipers.
in theory two diferent makes of disc shouldnt make much much difference so long as they are both identical thickness and material.... For the cost just...
I have run both mintex (road compound pad i forget the number) and ferodo premiers not much to choose between them I found the mintex were slightly more prone to squealing but both excellent pads for road use....
Cold air = more power (more oxygen per unit mass of air allowing more fuel to be burnt per revolution possibly explaining your economy decrease in the cold weather with ducted cold air)
Warm air = better economy (for the inverse reason of above)
