is taken of the body a simple job and would it break anything by taking it off. I guess I mean is it simple to take off and pop back on and wont break anything that needs replacing in the mean time? im new to this landrover lark. :-O but loving it

if ya dont wont to do any work on the chasis for atleast 6 months, would it be a bad idea to get the hammer out as you may cause damage, or would it not matter as if its gona break, it aint doing any support anyhows

pos, what hammer is best, normal steel one or a mallet to test for chasis integrity

oh also for wedling is it worth getting a "proper" garage to do the welding ie peter scotts, than a friend of a friend from his workshop? cos long time better etc...

hey redhand what is the drain valve? where it is located? is that the flywheel plug? heard about that in the haynes manual for when you go offroading. but not sure where that is :-( can you show me via pictures?

hey guys here is me installed snorkel and with plenty of silicon, nearly use 300ml! and the mantec wheel carrier on the back which I have just installed also, after restoring it from the scrap yard! even sealed the outside bit to help it along in the water and this be the mantec installed...

also noticed this connection on the back, looks as if it splits off to the main one connected to the rear by tow bar and then this one just sitting on the other side on rear cross member. any ideas what its all about and why I would have two of these connections on the rear.

Hey up, I found a lose wire in the battery area housing. I dont recall seeing it before, is something up? here are some snaps. so here we can see a wire clearly to the terminal but no wire to this terminal but this is the wire I noticed just laying on the flooor of the battery housing...
