aup sam, have you blanked your EGR? me disco is miles better at pulling away from junctions now and dosent do the dreadful 1.5 sec lag thing, if i rev mine in neutral from idle upto 3,000RPM the let off the pedal mine has a partial second of splutter but this is the only case so i do not do it.

take your belt off the pulley and see if there is any play in the bearing to the water pump, mine sheered off last week :doh:, better to be safe than be sorry. also take your 2 plastic filler plugs out and top up system (300tdi can hold 11.5 L or 2.53 gallon) and keep redoing this until you cant...

hello nati, theres many oils that can be used in in your 300 tdi, 10/30, 10/40, 15w/40 and 20w/50 (in hot weather) like CharlesY said its best to use a cheaper oil and change it more often to get rid of all the small metal deposits and carbon build up than to use a synthetic or semi synthetic...

yep buster's photo guide is very good, just done the job at weekend, main swivel seal and swivel bearings because i had shattered bottom swivel bearings and there was play in the swivel which caused the leak, if you need any advice please feel free to ask. :)

Got to be K&N, 300Tdi/ Mpi K&N can be bought for around the £30 mark, 200 Tdi can be bought for around £38, blank of your EGR, get a plate and a washer for around £5 off ebay and have a scan round for a metal hoover pipe cut to size and take off the whole unit, also after youve taken off you EGR...

RE: question about the ep90, where abouts are you? i work for a small oil company and we do just about every oil, i work in main warehouse, filling etc but i might be able to pull some strings with lads at shop and see if i could get some at a reduced price for a fellow landrover owner lol...
