I have heard lots of horror stories about britpart items on here, thinking of upgrading my suspension (90% road use at the mo) £188 for the Britpart HD Suspension kit £352 for Bilstein b6's Is it worth the extra dosh? Has anybody had experince with either brand? Thanks to all that read/post

As the cold weather creeps back in and if you notice that gear changes are 'stiff' in the morning, change to a thinner oil :)

The motor went from working perfect, to sqealing like a pig then waved the white flag and gave up on me all together. with a nice smell of burning :(

Hello to all, a quick question. Are the window motors the same? could i take out the passenger motor simply flip it over and fit it into drivers side? are the same motor used in range rovers, 200tdi's, freelanders as i'm having trouble finding 1. Many Thanks Ian

Bearings changed yesterday 100% improvement :), hardest bit was old races out and getting new ones in, simple and straight forwards otherwise. thankyou to every1 for there input.

Red is usually longlife antifreeze, blue is normal mono ethylene glycol or MEG, if blue is in yer bottle then make sure you top up with BS6580 antifreeze but it is quite the norm now been in place since 1992, thats got all yer Anti corrosion inhibitors in, get a cheap hydrometer/antifreeze...

Small rubber bung, on near side, above accelerator pedal, pull 12v supply through, feed to boot, then silicone :) job done!

Get the oil changed, and the oil filter at the same time, Oil gets alot thinner at higher temps, which decreases resistance. Thicker cold oil = more resistance, thats why it aint a good idea to boot yer engine when its cold. For example 15w/40 @ 40 degrees is roughly 100 cSt viscosity 15w/40...
