And to roughly set the mixture lift the piston and look in the carb,the brass bit that the needle valve sits in should be level with the base of the carb,just fine tune it from there ;)

It's worth learning how to do them yourself as most garages nowadays haven't got a clue when it comes to carbs,there not that bad to do and need to be tuned regularly so worth doing it yourself. Have a look at this link it explains it all :) Classic Car Hub - Articles- Guide to setting up...

I made the snorkels for mine (one for each carb) for about £80. I used drainpipe to go at the side of the cage but if you've not got a cage mount it to the frame for the screen,and then used silicone hose that I got of the Internet for £60 for 2 metres,you wouldn't need as much if your only...

From the photo you can see that the spring is more or less flat and the spring hanger is pointing backwards where with a good spring it'd be more or less vertical.(look at the spring hanger on the front compared to the one on the rear) Genuine springs would sort it or a good set of...
