Painting Galvanised Chassis - help please

I'd have been tepted to give it either two or even three coats of primer, followed by a couple more coats of colour than suggested. Its the perfect time to do it, when in its bare form and you might as well protect it as best you can whilst its easy. A few extra coats will cost a few days now...

    Thoughts? - 110 csw or 110 utility?

They're already tinted. My main concern wasnt necessarily people seeing whats in the back, but being able to open the sliding windows relatively easy. I suppose even with the solid panels, a defender isn't exactly the hardest thing in the world to break into... Cheers for the suggestion though...

    Thoughts? - 110 csw or 110 utility?

I take it you have a "factory produced" utility, as opposed to what I'm planning on doing.. Does the bulkhead go to roof level, ie the boot is totally seperate to the seating? Mine will have straight through access, which is a benefit.

    Thoughts? - 110 csw or 110 utility?

I have a set of 88" panels for my 110. I currently have a 9 seat csw, but i hardly ever use the rear 4 seats as I habe a dog cage in the boot for my Ridgeback. I really like the look of the newer Utility model. Should I replace the windowed panels with the 88" solid ones, or keep the glass...

    L322 Lost Key!

Yes. the £90 was for the actual key, which is cnc cut to physically fit the car. If you took the key like this, it would open the lock, but nothing else. The electronic programming bit was done at dealer. Took half an hour.

    NAS 70mm LED Lights

They look cool, but they are stupid money... I beleive they're £1400 a pair, not that it makes much difference - stilll not gonna buy em! Couldnt you have gotten better acces for the side lights, by just removeing the headlamps?

    Range Rover Light Guards

Had em on my L322 and they were very good. The mounting brackets are hidden from view, so if you remove the guards in the future, you wont see that they've been fitted.

    Land Rover for School Trips?

This is sort of true, but you can drive a minibus on a car license, even if you dont have grandfather rights............. subject to certain criteria I'm not sure whether or not your school project would be in "work time" or "play time" though... Holders of a full category B (car)...

    L322 radio/CD awol

I had issues with my Range Rover, it was the sat nav unit in the boot. Theres a vent which leaks water into the bay. I ended up removing the units and drying them out for a few days.

    winch`Q` - opinions wanted

If you have millions of pounds to spend, try RED WINCHES. They are awesome looking, fitted to lots of the newer military vehicles ( Mastiff, Ridgeback, etc) Bloody expensive though...

    winch`Q` - opinions wanted

The answer depends on a few different things... Here is the answer I gave CoupeUK in his post... For starters, you need to know what parts are required, and what different winches are available...the main two are electric and hydraulic. Electric winches are (relatively) easy to fit, then run...

So I was having a mooch through Land Rover Monthly today, dangerous, I know. Saw an arcticle on Daytime running lights. I noticed the car in the arcticle had a strange set of headlights. They looked like they were LED Headlights. They looked pretty cool. I decided to se if I could find out...
