firstly you wont here the compressor under the bonnet because its on the chassis below the front passenger seat. secondly it wont rise if any of the doors are open could be a height sensor but sound like the compressor. proberly burn it out with ur failing airbag.

I just took the bleed srew out. put heated on max let it run hot with the srew out and it was just bowing coolant out the hole then u no theirs no air.

i fitted mine to the bonnet (stick on 0ne). And i just keep my old one in the boot and a roll of duck tape incase i get stopped.

What gear oil for a Td5 r380 manual box. Says MTF 94 in the hand book where do i get this? or is their any other choices? Dan

id have the gator off the top of the box and check the grease hasnt dried up causing it hard to change gear.?

I had viabrtions between 2000 - 2700 mine was an auto not long after the torque converter snapped yea torque conver not the the flex plate! but you could clearly see it had been broken in one place for a long time then i guess the viabrations caused it to totally kill its self check the pic...
