Only option is to remove it. tacking it on won't hurt the signal, but you'll probably find they bend it beyond use anyway if they can't get it off.

I take that back - it looks like someone took a pot shot at my head light with an air rifle!! (Before anyone comments, that's a description of the damage, not what I actually think happened!!) It's totally dry and clean inside so it must have been very late in the trip or, knowing my luck...

Feeling better after tightening a few things. Amazing how no matter how much you tighten something, if you go back later you can always tighten it a bit more ;) Hopefully that should have done the trick. Now trying to decide whether to go down Friday night or Saturday morning.
