Mine has had this alot, its the yellow connection under passenger seat, simply unplug and reconnect, its when the seats are moved after being in a set position for a while, just as Scotty has reported. VERY COMMON PROBLEM

checked the bonnet switch, sounds simple but is linked to alarm and imobilser, could be the route, did the same 4 me

the 200/300 series seats fold flatter and closer to side of the Disco, but are side facing which I beleive children under a certain age cannot now use BY LAW, and the TD5 Disco rear seats are similar but are bulkier. However these seats open up and are forward facing with drop down headrests...

Had a strange problem yesterday morning. Unlocked the Disco with alarm button, got in and turned key and alarm went off, not good at 4.30am. So I pressed button again to silence it, put car into drive but the dash lights "m" and "s" were flashing along with the auto lever lights. Manual says...

thanks for the info, went straight outside to sort the SRS, funny really cos the missus is quite tiny, and pulled her seat forward, then the light came on!!!!, been under seat, unplugged the yellow sockets and re-connected, and...........Hey presto, tis fixed. Many thanks

Hi there, can anybody tell me if there are any beneficial claims regarding removal/blanking of my EGR. Does it improve performance/economy?, do I need to do it as I have no symptons, smoke, or rattles. But it would be nice for more oomph with loads more economy.

Help peeps!!!!!!! I have a 2001 Auto Td5, with two faults and am unsure which is more serious. The first is a chatter/rattle through the break peddle on start up, like its finding neutral, and the second is more recently due to a permanently SRS warning on the dash. Any ideas?:(
