Well, on the way to work yesterday and hit centre of Slough at 8am.. Monday morning at this time is manic but just as I start to cross one of the main crossroads the dash display went mental, Gearbox Failure, Enginer Failure, Engine disabled, dropped down off suspension onto blocks.. Engine...

    Whistle.....

Hi all, Not sure if this is a problem but it's drivingthe missus nuts. When driving (2k Vogue V8) and you lift your foot of the accelerator or drive without increasing the revs, it appears the engine whistles as if you were getting a feedback whistle on the old radios of yester-year that...

    It's all going wrong (EAS)

My understanding of jacking up a RR without causingit to go out of range, is to make sure you have the rear gate open and a door, as the suspension will not adjust when either are open.. Best to open both, in case the door gets closed ;) Sure I will be corrected if I am wrong, but that's what...

    climate control

Not wrong, Jason just completed a 96k service, valley gasket, water leak, serpentine belt and a few other checks for less than LR quoted just for the 96k service labour. He even quoted £300 less than my local independant. Excellent service.. Comes fully recommended..

    climate control

Blend motors would be my guess.. Had the same issue on mine (2000 Vogue) If you take it too a steeler, they will charge you heaven and earth to have replace. However, if you go to an independant, you will find the cost a great deal cheaper.. Check on ebay for 'Landrover Mobile Services'. I...

    TOYO tyres

I had Toyo's for my last set which were on when I bought it, lasted well, not too noisy.. I have just had them replaced (due to my spare being a Pirelli) to Pirelli's and must confess, they seem to be quieter and feel good.. HTH Tim

    EAS question

Morning all, Went to go to work this morning and started the Rangie. Up popped the EAS fault message with the lights flashing and the raised up high icon on the dash. Decided to work from home and moved the car on the road so the missus could get her car out.. anyway... Left it for 10...

    P38 Brakes odd feel

I had the exact same issue, As far as I am aware, all 3 lights remian on for a lil while everytime I drive it, and thought that was standard. As for the brakes, I had mine checked for the same reason you described, first push, soft feeling, second real hard, but was told that the breaks were...

    Range Rovers Going Wrong %

My 2000 4.6 vogue has now done 104k and I have had it a year, other than having to get the blend motors changed (bought with the fault) it has done me proud.
