Brackets are welded to the axle. As far as I can determine these brackets are available as a weld on replacement for earlier Defenders/Series models but not for the Puma?. Mike

Exhaust hangers on the exhaust side are getting pretty corroded. For extra security just in case one of the hangers breaks I have strapped the exhaust up loosely with copper wire (heavy earth wire with plastic stripped off). Just wondering if this is OK for MOT?. Thanks Mike

Thanks for replies. Have ordered a 63mm x 200mm clamp on which includes clamps and exhaust gum £13.95. Definitely worth a try. Measured existing exhaust at 61mm/62mm. Might be a slack fit but 60mm would not fit. Mike
