My line of thinking was that if it was made to be an Auto they may have missed or taken the link out to get round a problem. However now I know it left the factory as an Auto there is a high chance that the box and transferbox have never left the car hence it been something that has failed...

Just spoken to a guy who was able to confirm off the VIN that it left the factory as an Auto so my guess is that something has gone wrong with it.... I will test the dash bulb as thats something I can do! Any other Ideas?

Spoken to paddocks and they say best to keep it as it was with solid discs and solid calipers. Aparently the brake lines are diffrent so far simpler to get the right set. So if anyone is in the West Yorkshire area and needs a pair of vented discs let me know they are going cheap.
