Get a cheap lighter and heat the end of the key up! Not so quick or hot that you melt the plastic bits tho! Go slow and give it some time and it will fit in fine. The fun then starts as you try to turn the key! Heat it some more and try WD40 in the hole. Dont force it tho.

I have done the bottom to top with no luck! More WD40 in there than there is at Tescos! I am yet to try top down as I have some other mods I want to do whilst the centre console is out just not had the time. Mine is free however just not locking the diff!

Lol few ways to look at it. Halfords are open on Sundays! There are loads of them so if it fails in Scotland, Ireland, London or Leeds then it can be taken back for a replacement (If you keep copy or receipt in the car) They carry such items in stock and you can get it and have it on the car...
