The reason he gave me was that the BECM was locked (I now find out that this is the correct mode for it) and I would have to go to a main...

:screaming_bug_eye_fOK then, time to sort out this BECM issue...clearly, given the state of the driver's door card, and the panel under the driver's seat...somebody has been furking about with the BECM. There are tiny bits of wire insulation under the seat, which would indicate some wire...
