Is there a test i can do on the rad to check? Stick a hose on one end kinda thing? Running out of money with all my repairs to this car. What if i stick to normal heater use and see if i get any changes? How much is a rad nowadays?

most cars i have driven you can see slight changes on the temp guage. Like towing it increases slightly, 70mph on motorway on a cold night the guage goes down, stuck in traffic on a hot day slight increase etc. The cooling system passed a high pressure test and the bleeding nipple going back...

Gavbriggs what do u suggest! I towed the boat again today and everything was fine! So the LPG is the cause! I'm sure of it now! I'm going to book it in with my gas man an hope it's as straightforward as changing over vaporisers and not a full overhall etc.

Well I've had the heaters up full in order to give me good warning incase I running out of coolant not had aircon on much at all! It never gets that hot here! Altho I do have the aircon switch on the hevac unit set so the light is not on! Why do you ask J?

That's good coz I rarely see them on! Ha ha! Jus did thirty mins of motorway driving and no overheating issues! Levels fine, hot air out of heaters, no oil in coolant and no coolant in oil!

eh! I need help with my headlamp washers not a new set of trainers!

As if my car wasnt stressing me out enough it has decided to not switch off the headlamp washers. I've taken the fuse out and the relay seems to be working ok. Anyone got any clues?

Right just back from garage and the car passed a pressure test. Put 10bar into it and left it for 10mins. No leaks and no loss of pressure. How can i check if the vaporiser is actually the cause before buying a new one?

Did u have oil in coolant or coolant in oil?
