    sounds like its worth buying a couple of new horns and see if it fixes the problem have had a look online at horns and they come in high or low tones do I buy one of each or both the same

    Its back to my not working horn. I have done as suggested and disconnected both horns I put a new fuse in and switched the ignition on and pressed the buttons on the steering wheel and the fuse didn't blow. I then connected one horn and did the same thing the fuse didn't blow but still no sounds...

    just a quick update on my misted headlights. Have had loads of rain driven over 1000 miles and still no misting in headlight so drying them out with a hairdryer and removing the rubber plugs from the back works

    Regarding the breathers if you remove the whole front headlamp assembly you can see at the back there are 4 rubber plugs I just pulled them out and keep them in the glove box just in case the condensation returns but so far it all looks ok just have to see how it goes in the winter

    just thought I would update on my misted front headlights. I removed the whole assembly and used a hairdryer to remove the water that was lying in the bottom, I them removed the breather plugs from the back put it all back and its now been 4 weeks and still no water or misting so far so good ...

    Back to the saga of my steering wheel buttons. I did manage to remove the button by using a flat knife and flicking it out but apart from the spring not sitting square'ly behind the button all seemed ok.I put it all back and thought job done, so I replaced the blown fuse and yes! it blew...

    Thanks for all the info I like the idea of just flicking out the buttons with a flat knife sounds a lot easier than removing the steering wheel air bag module, to be honest I appreciate the advice regarding the removal of air bag module but it scares me a bit in case it goes off. I am ok at...

    Have not long had the car so I shall have to dig around for the code (hope its with the paperwork that came with it as its not the original stereo) thanks for the advice I shall have a go in the week if you dont hear from me again I have probably blown my head of with the airbag!!!!!!!

    Thanks I will try removing just the one headlight breather that is misting and see how it goes you never know I may get lucky but what a response from LR can you imagine BMW or MERCEDES saying to its customers that misting in the headlamps is normal !!!!!!!!!!! ( I dont think so )

    funny you should have extended the clutch pedal becouse I have done exactly the same and yes it does help, it looks like I will just have to live with it.!! Thanks anyway

    Hi I have a td5 manual 2002 and am really pleased with it but the only issue is the heavy clutch. There is nothing wrong with the clutch, its just so heavy, if in the future I had a new clutch fitted are there options to have a lighter one fitted or is there just one replacement and thats it

    Thanks for the info all seems ok at the moment but if it starts playing up the first thing I will do is change the ride- height sensors
