Great. That is a very usefull image. However, I think I have all of the parts that are shown on that diagram. The thing just does not appear to have any way of bolting it on though ? Is the only fixing that holdfs the whole thing in place refered to as 4 & 5 ? Or are there other fixings ?

Hi. The leave that controls the fan strength is not attached to my dash in any way. Is there a parts breakdown / exploded view of this area anywhere ? I presume I need a couple of brackets bit I've got no idea what they would look like. Maybe they have part numbers ?

Hi. Just a quick update. Bought the defender for £900 off the insurance company. Spent about another £400 getting new plates, new MOT, Vin Plate etc. Its now about 4 years newer whick I guess is good ? Will just chalk it up to a learning experience. ALWAYS CHECK ALL THE CHASSIS NUMBERS...

What would anyone think an N reg Defender truck cab with 2" lift and a few other toys would be worth ? Obviously taking into account the Cat D.

The vehicle that the identity would have been taken off would have been driven into the sea or something. That way it would never have been registered as scrapped. Besides I dont think the DVLA records are that accurate yet anyway ?? Because I used the old number plate and the VIN off a fake...
