I DON'T KNOW, THAT'S WHY I'M ASKING ANYONE WHO HAS ACTUALLY DONE IT FOR THEIR VIEWS!!!!!!!! I know the difference between a Mercedes 6.3 AMG on air and a non-AMG Mercedes 6.3 on coils arguably, the coil ride is better overall, but the AMG wins out in other ways.

I'm not complaining about wallowy ride, I'm just sick of being thrown about by every little ripple in the road. I've had new shocks, new bushes, new steering damper, marginal improvement. An ancient RR Classic I drove rode far better than my P38, hence the question re coils. Thanks.

Re my wandering P38. Had it checked out at a Landy friendly workshop - itwas the radius arm bushes, front bush on both sides well and truly Kn....ed, both sides rears not quite so bad - but beyond sell by date! Thanks to all respondees.
