Thanks Arc, found a forum where people confirmed it's not that vital so drilled it out only to find that the problem's not the handbreak itself but the oil all over it, so looks like I need to do the output seal (whoopee). So will get a new screw for when I do the seal. Thanks again.

Ryder/Glen, Vodafone gave away a Dell Inspiron with a 3G bundle a while ago, it's got a 10" screen and a solid state HDD (no moving parts, so will take the bumps better). It's only about 7Gb but enough to run memory map and I bet theres plenty on flebay.
