Update, forgot to mention that when I spoke to stratstone Landrover for radio code they told me as of next month there are going to start charging £15 for radio and EUK codes (lock out etc) so be warned and ring up now if you don't no ur security numbers for your rangies, On the plus side...

I got a quote from adrain flux for my 96 dse rangie and they wanted £769 so i tried FOOTMAN JAMES and got insured fully comp £220 and i live in a very bad post code (bolton) phoned Adrain flux back and told um and they said best they could do was £700 you tell me if thats a good quote from...

Probrably the fuel quantity actuator, its in the fuel injection pump and is a dear part to get recond around £500 ish if taken to a proper pump specailist.

There isnt enuf of the ecu left for me to do a repair, il try and get a pic on here but it completly burned the first 3 transistors out and took the whole corner of the PCB (printed circuit board) with it, lucky it didnt set fire to the seat really and my mystake it is the transfere box ecu...

Bingo, god dam gearbox ecu burned out.... ahhhhhh whats next?

Hi ladies and gentleman, got a new fault and its not SMELLING too good. As many of you know my gearbox is buggerd i have to select 1st then set off then select drive and all is good (sprag clutch gone in autobox) i can live with that for now but last night id just rebuilt my sons mini moto...

it is but my supplier (general traffic and euro parts) dont list the sensor so im guessing its a landrover only part, got to be worth it tho... funnily enuf its drinking it but its NOT black smoking as id expect with pouring too much fuel in,:confused:
