    Ohhhhhhh so the diesel is 1 pipe from engine then the near back box splits off to the other side for the passenger side back box?? just tryna picture it in my head.:confused::D

    Hmmmmmm, im experianced in everything else but not gearboxes (auto's) i normally pass on any customers to a local auto box specailist but as hes a mate of mine i thort id have a go and try and save him some money, oh well looks like im gona have to give him the bad news, thanks for your help.:)

    Yeh it revs up fine in park and neutral, it is itermitant and thats whats baffeling me i just cant think what would be doing this fault, it does seem to be a tad worse when its hot (engine) but surley if its the clutch pack then it would be the same hot or cold... dam auto boxes !! im goin back...

    Yeh im not sure about the clutch pack as it doesnt rev up at all, its more like an electrical problem, yet it is selecting reverse as the rev lights are coming on and the revs do drop ever so slightly as it would when it selects gear... it just wont rev up to move the rangie but yet its fine in...

    Got a weird 1 today... went to my mates house after a frantic phone call, basicaly his dse drives fine but its started to stall when you select reverse, sometimes its fine and selects fine and reverses fine, other times it selects reverse but has no power, the engine just wont rev up in reverse...

    Mines a dse and i think the differance is the leather seats and aircon, depends on what extras where orderd when new, as a rule the dt ids the basic 1 and dse has the toys so to speak, fit a psi box and it will fly like the wind lol:D
