Its entirely worthwhile spending time and money on an f reg. a good b reg 90 can be worth as much as a its R reg sibling. First stop is rust. Be it protection if its not rusty or fixing it if its is rusty. No point in doing anything it if the chassis and bulkhead are fooked.

Never really got on with the 300tdi. had a few and they would get a bit hot going up a long hill towing and never be right again. Never had much success fixing them afterwards either. probably my least favorite of all of them. 200tdi is cool but only really appreaciated after a week in a n/a...

runs and drives, brakes and lights work but clutch needs bleeding. but dont for one minuete think you'll have it mot'ed in a week. It all needs a good going through. its been stood for 10 years.
