    Might just be me then, get the rest of it stripped and have a proper good look at it then. I don't really know how much is too much or how much is permitted, it just seems loose if ya know what I mean. I've got the manual for the box refurb (off Ashcrofts website) its the Land Rover one.     Got my kit from Ashcrofts, quick delivery too. Cleaned everything off today with White Spirit and had a closer look, still think its the sleeve. Done another clearer video below, what do ya think??? I'm gonna press the bearings off tomorrow and I think we'll know more then.

    Well, after the rigmarole of removing the bl**dy thing I've now come to disassemble it and I think I've found the culprit of the loud 'CLUNK' going forward to reverse and back :confused::confused::confused:. Now I'm no expert in these matters and have strictly followed the LT230 rebuild manual...

    The transmission 'snatch' could be either from wear in the transfer box input /output shaft and or the diff (as I am finding out on mine. Just ordered a transfer box refurb kit from Ashcrofts & may need to either adjust or refurb the rear diff as theres quite a bit of play in it

    Do you know its history before you got it??? You can get a conversion kit to do away with the doughnut and having a 4 bolt flange in its place. I know Paddock do em see linky below

    Got cracking on the Discovery again after a 6 month lay-off due to a knackered back, so this needs curing its a 2 inch by 1 inch hole which is on the near-side rear wheel-arch at the bottom where the chassis leg meets & attaches to the sill. The sill bracket is ok, the chassis leg is fine too...

    I have the same the same problem with mine, flickering interior light, which now stays on constantly no matter what I do, other than pull the bulbs. Tried all the tests I could, replaced all the door plungers, checked all the wiring connectors & bulbs, even got a second MFU, still didn't work...
